Fr. Paul Zahler, the founder director
of OBIMR and NIDD, has successfully formulated a therapy based on
aquatic activities for children with developmental delays.
This revolutionary program for children with physical and mental
challenges displayed
dramatic results and was instrumental in developing a full-fledged
child development center. This program played a vital role by
providing an opportunity for children, that in many cases could not
be in program due to their severe developmental delays. This program has
become a last resort for many children with challenging mental and
physical conditions.

Fr.
Paul introduced this water
therapy-based games to the children with multiple delays even
before 30 years and it has proved an effective tool for development.
It was also introduced in developing countries like India two decades ago. |
