NIDD ‘s training program for the child development professionals including caregivers is unique in its nature and practicality. The child development program of NIDD offers development-oriented activities, which include: swimming, horseback riding, sensory motor stimulation, sensory motor integration, and music, aerobics and group sports. This program plays a vital role by providing an opportunity for children that, in many cases, could not be given in public school special education classes or who did not find any placement in any other government program due to their severe physical and mental challenges. This program has become a last resort for many children with challenging mental and physical conditions.

NIDD has developed a training program that would give a total understanding of our child development tool ‘Experience Quotient Functional Development Approach’.

Experience Quotient will provide new perspectives to everyone interested in child development in general, and in the growth of children with delayed development in particular.

Professionals who work with children with delays, special educators, caregivers and parents would find the new approach and training program of immense practical value. We at the National Institute on Developmental Delays will be delighted to associate with you in extending the service to more children.
